Challenges & Solutions

One significant challenge was ensuring real-time data synchronization across all devices and platforms. We addressed this by implementing WebSockets for bidirectional communication between the frontend and backend, guaranteeing near-instantaneous updates to codetime, device status, and project progress. Another challenge involved scaling the application to handle a growing number of users and projects. We mitigated this by leveraging AWS services like RDS for database management, EC2 for server hosting, and a load balancer to distribute traffic, ensuring high availability and performance under heavy load.
